02 / The editorial approach
A great clip feels like a conversation you want to be part of. Every decision starts there.
Review the conversation. Choose a moment with something to say, enough context to follow and a payoff worth staying for.
Build the rhythm around the people speaking. Use readable captions, purposeful reframing and supporting footage that adds meaning.
Check the names, the sound, the framing and the full exchange. Avery directs the work and reviews every finished cut.

A few practical details
Interviews, podcasts, panel conversations and personality-led shows. Sport, entertainment and culture are our starting point; the conversation and your audience guide the approach.
Moment selection is part of the service. Share your priorities and anything the audience needs to know. We review the source and build a shortlist before editing.
Avery leads the editorial approach and final review. A dedicated editor builds the cuts, with a shared brief and a consistent standard across the batch.
A finished episode with usable audio, your brand assets, correct names and any approved supporting footage. Raw multicamera editing, archive research, extra formats and publishing can be discussed as separate scope.
